Natal Astrology: is an overview of classical and modern as well as metaphysical/spiritual approaches to reading the Nativity. Studies will be directed toward:
Thinking like an Astrologer
Accuracy of interpretation
Metaphysical/Spiritual concepts
Practical application (physical appearance, character, validating the angles w/events)
Horary Techniques for Natal Astrologers
Topics of special interest (Planetary Hours, Decanates and Dwads, Tables of Essential Dignity, Fixed Stars etc.)
Astrological Signatures (from my friend and Teacher, Linda Goodman – never printed in her published works)
No Math Anxiety! This course will cover interpretation only. (Calculating charts by hand can be taught as a separate module for those interested.)
This class may be completed over the course of one year, at your own pace. You will receive individual comments and mentoring from Aselzion via e-mail or U.S. mail as you prefer. You may Prepay $150.00 at one time or in installments at a rate of $20.00/month, pay as you go.
Introduction to Medical Astrology: modern uses of Medical Astrology based on the work of Dr. William Davidson, Dr. Harry F. Darling and Dr. Eugen Jonas, we will explore:
- Assessing the metabolism or "Fire of Life"
- The anatomical correspondences of the Signs of the Zodiac
- The pathology of the Planets and Aspects
- The Biochemical Cell Salts and their use
- Astrobiology: The Astrological Fertility Cycle
- Times to avoid having particular surgeries
This course will focus on the avoidance of certain dates for surgery rather than election of desirable dates, as trying to schedule surgery for a specific date/time in this day and age is daunting at best! (here you may read virtually impossible!)

There is a recommended reading list for each course, and homework will be assigned to assess your progress and comprehension. It is recommended that all books on the reading list be procured prior to starting the course, though exceptions may be made depending upon your prior knowledge of Astrology or your ability to obtain the books. Alternate titles may be substituted at our discretion. If you have trouble locating the books locally, I recommend Astroamerica.com. Original course materials from Aselzion will be sent via e-mail or U.S. mail as the student prefers. Questions are always welcomed via e-mail, or, time zone permitting, via telephone.
For the purposes of our classes we will use the Equal House System and Campanus House System, Tropical Zodiac, and major Ptolemaic aspects, including the Inconjunct. We will not be using Chiron, asteroids or hypothetical planets in our work.
Work must be typed or handwritten legibly! I don't read hieroglyphs! (at least not in this Incarnation!) If I can't read it, it will be sent back for revision! :)
